One bottom plow mod

For my fellow Orange owners - this is a reiteration of the saga that unfolded over in the K-O/O forum...

But I felt a summary post was warranted in here... for non-Orange heads...

Basically - I was gifted a freakish plow that at some point had "sorta" been modified to be "relatively" cat 1 compliant...

Here's my story - in all it's glory...

That right tractor wheel should maybe moved so its in the furrow. Or maybe the plow should be moved so the wheel is in the furrow.

Or maybe just get a rototiller and forget the plough!

Why are you going the wrong way? Your right wheel should be in the forrow! The plow should suck its self in to the ground, no weight needed. play with the top link.

The wrong way - yup... It's been a while since I hitched a plow on - and honestly - given the length of this saga... when it finally went in the ground - I was so frackin excited - I just started going... apparently it's not exactly[.i] like riding a bicycle...
The weight was a result of it coming out of the ground - which was REALLY a result of the sod buster and the depth wheel you see in some of the older pictures... When it finally ripped them off and it went in - I didn't take off the weight - just got excited and went.
Next time I'll see what I can do without the weight - have never had to on any other plow... should never have to add weight.
The huge bite angle too - is a result of the same thing...
Next time - I'll go the right way - and have her adjusted a little better
