Oliver 1365 / White 1370 Rod bearings

HELP
In need of connecting rod bearings for Oliver 1365 / White 1370
Need .050 or .060 sizing
can find .040 but really need .050 and , or .060
OR would anyone know of comparable size replacement

any help appreciated

If you can't find them, maybe you could put shims behind the .040 shells. Seems like it would work if you locktite them in place. Maybe a crazy idea, I don't know.

where would you find shims for this. never heard of rod bearing shims is this something your could purchase at specific thicknesses??

You would just buy shim stock and cut it with scissors or tin snips. I did it once with a piece of aluminum foil in back of a motorcycle rod bearing, but that's very thin. Seems like it would work for you as long as it stays in there.

Never thouht off that ! With the bearingshell lip sticking out a lot it must work. A 0.05 shimstock will give you that 0.1 you need .
