older steiner tractors

I'm currently looking at a 1980's model steiner tractor with a mower deck and snow blade. Are these good units? Are parts available for them. This unit has a older 16hp Kohler Engine on it. This unit runs great and is still being used to clean snow off of parking lots today. I wasn't sure if being that old is an issue or not. Thanks Matt

Matt,
One concern would be the hydrostatic drive system on this machine. Has it been maintained or ignored? If it has been maintained they will run for a very long time, if it has been ignored it could turn into a money pit.

Other item is attachments. Steiner and Ventrac use similar attachments but what limited knowledge they are expensive.
