Older cub blower on a new(er) cub LTX

Hey everyone! Great site you have here.

I think you are gonna see me around alot

I'm from the UP of Michigan

I like to fix things

So, on to my first question here

I found a real nice snow thrower for sale right up the road:

A few months ago I found another real nice deal on a Cub LTX 1046, 22 hp. I would like to think I can use the blower on the tractor.

I have a few more pics if it would help. I saw it in person yesterday, there is nothing resembling an ID plate on it, so no model number.

Do you guys think its possible.

A little grinding/drilling/welding or fabbing don't scare me a whole lot.

Looks like a model 303. You should be able to get a manual from a dealer/online.
Biggest challenge (I think) would be to have the right distance to the main drive pulley.....might take a bit of fabricating. Anything can be done!

Thanks for th einfo. I looked up a 303 and It looks like you are right on. Do any of you guys have any more info??

If you have a Cub dealer closeby, I would go check out the matched blower unit for the 1046, and make note of the differences....it can only help you. I would dare guess they haven't changed very much.....
