Thought I would make me an old fart step before I hurt myself jumping off my JD or strain something getting on it.;) It works great:D

Morning mfrost.
You may be onto something....sharp looking.

A little green paint and it would look like it came on the tractor. A great job. As good looking as the factory would (and maybe should) have done.

Thanks, here is a picture after I got it out of the paint shop and mounted. Now it looks like I need to paint the rest of the tractor. The paint that I got from TSC is a little different from stock but a litle dust and it all looks the same:D It did go on good and has a great gloss.

If I had a Hinomoto I would make one for you or you could drive it to California and I tighten you right up. Take the idea and run with it.

Mfrost.. nice job.. hey anything that helps so you don't slip and bust your.. you know. The NH boomers have a similiar step.. but.. the step is not as deep as yours. I'm in the mud every morning feeding.. and have slipped multiple times.. saving myself pain only because I've had a good handhold when climbing up into the tractor. A step like yours would def. be an improvement.

One note. I wondered why on the NH boomer steps why the "supporting brackets" for the step are not that robust. The reason is.. if you snag a stump, large branch etc.. the step's "support brackets" will bend.. and not the operator's platform.
