Your tractor appears to be a '62 to '64 model with a 4 cylinder engine. The newer 3 cylinder 4000s starting in '65 had different sheet metal. Your tractor is the Low Center of Gravity (LCG) variant, which was used by a lot of highway departments back in the day. HTH.

That tractor is 1964 or earlier as it precedes the line introduced in September, 1964 which featured 3-cylinder engines. Given its age and the fact that it has a Select-O-Speed trans I'd think twice or thrice as it could be an expensive restore. Being gas, the carburetor float restricts sideslopes to 17 degrees.

ps.. if it won't start and you have to drag it up on a trailer, make sure you throw the traction disconnect so the rear wheels will roll.. otherwise, the trans is locked if the engine ain't running...
