I am a male retired 86yr old living with my wife on a small acreage in North West NSW. We have the basic necessities and are reasonably physically active. No livestock but love to cultivate trees, plants, vegetables etc. Permanent water supply is our biggest problem. We love the peace and quiet.

Welcome to the site. Nice looking spread you have there. As for here if I were in your shoes I'd look for a well driller and use a drip irrigation system. It uses far less water than regular irrigation. Not sure if that's an option there or not.

Also depending on your rainfall you could do a roof capture system for rain runoff. THen have that elevated to at least 10' to get the minimum PSI required.

Good luck in getting this accomplished.

Welcome here!

The red tractor must be Feng Shou 180 mentioned in your profile - it looks like a pretty tough little tractor!
