Those tool holders look really interesting. Where did you find them?

I think I ordered them from Cabela's... it's been a while. They were going to stop making them, so they were pretty cheap. I've got some nicer ones on the way from Koplin for the wheeler. They ratchet closed instead of using velcro like these. I've seen cheaper versions that just have two arms that you just push the tool into and it snaps in place.

Here's a little vid of the trailer... and with that I'll call it done!

It did, though it's one more step I didn't want. Oh well. Maybe someday I'll have an actuator in the shock's place and some linkage to open the gate.

Looks like you've got to be a member to view the pics.

Update on the trailer; I'm at nearly 50 loads of rock, brick, and gravel, and she's holding up well. Nothing's broke. I'm starting to see the outline of the crossmember in the floor... so worst case there I'll someday cut the bottom out and replace with thicker metal.

Also forgot to say; I was worried about it being unstable... well she does great where it's tippy. There are spots where it's on a slope and there's a root on the high side... well she just slides down hill a little if I'm going too fast. I'm very impressed.

Nice! Wouldn't work well for my application, but still very well done.

So as expected the flimsy hardware and rivets on the rear "tailgate" aren't holding up. What I'd like to have is a setup that opens as the box tilts through linkages and obviously holds closed through those linkages as the box lays flat. This could someday lead the way to having a lenear acuator replace the shock and dump from the wheeler's seat. I have no idea how to go about this. Anyone have any pics of examples?... or crude microsoft paint sketches?
