Oil & Fuel Oil Question

On the PowerTrac. The oil cooler that is in question, is it the engine oil it is cooling, the hydraulic oil? Or is the whole tractor just one big tank of oil?

On the gas-engined ones, while they have a small oil-cooler on the engine, we're certainly talking about cooling the hydraulic oil. The engine oil system is totally separate from the hydraulic system. A PT-425 holds 10 gallons of motor oil in its hydraulic system. I think the PT-422s hold the same...

The diesel-engined PTs have a much more significant oil cooler on their engine, since they too are oil-cooled/air-cooled engines...
