We just picked this thing up from a JD dealer a couple of days ago. For its size, it sure is quite the piece of equipment!

The JD dealer doesn't know much about Kubotas, but did go through it and put in some new seals, etc. I checked the fluid levels after using it a few hours and noticed the hydraulic oil level is above the top hole in the dipstick. Is that extra oil going to cause too much pressure or anything else that could be a problem?

Thanks
David

1/2 to 3/4" above top fill mark. I assume it's just a reservoir, so not like a transmission where you don't want to overfill or else you get too much pressure. But I've been wrong before.

dggott,

As a BX2350 owner of 10 years / 700 hours, I have found that being overfilled a little bit doesn't hurt anything. At the last service, I guessed wrong on the amount of Super UDT2 to add for the filter change. Got it overfilled by about 1/2 inch when cold. No problems. With the Hydro, you just don't want to let it get lower than the end of the dip stick. I think you will be just fine like it is.
