Oil in radiator - Iseki TX1500, Mitsubishi engine KE75

I checked the water level in my radiator and noticed a thin film of black oil on top of the water. Checked the water while running the engine without the radiator cap. Some air bubbles the first half minute, then no more. Engine oil level ok, oil looks normal not milky. The engine runs as always, no loss of power. Anybody has an idea ? I was thinking it could be the head gasket or a cracked engine block (hope not). Thanks for your ideas.

I thought oil in coolant made a milky mess, but maybe that depends on how long it has sat.
Can you remove it with a turkey baster and see if it comes back ? How does the oil in the crankcase look ?
I don't remember hearing of issues with heads cracking on the Mitsubishi engines. Maybe the head gasket is on its way out. Some auto parts stores sell a kit than can check for exhaust gas in the radiator, but that may not help if its a leak from coolant to oil.

We had something similar about 40 years ago on a Massey Fergason 2805 tractor. It was a V-8 engine, and I think it was a Perkins.

First we changed the head gaskets. Then it happened again so we had to have the heads shaved. Apparently the heads were warped and allowed the head gaskets to leak.
