Oil ? for New Holland/Ford 2120

I did some looking and found the oil capacity to be 6.3 qt's with filter change. The coolant capacity was listed as 8.5 qts. Maybe he got the two values confused?

I use cenex enviro edge 5/40 in my new b-c 235,full syn oil for n. Minnesota.I think cenex oil is available all around the country.

SG remembers well. The 1920 capacity is 6.3 w/filter. If you tried to stuff 8.5 in there it would be weeping out the dipstick tube.

do you know the engine oil capacity. My Dad is thinking his book is mismarked it sats 8.5 quarts. that is 2.5 quarts over on the dip stick. Thanks for the help.

I can't believe it would be 8.5 quarts. Start with 3 quarts and check dip stick, continue to add till you get to full mark on stick. I know my 4 cylinder B3200 TLB oil cap. is 5.4 quarts.

2 gallons in and still little low.

Be careful what you read on internet. Manuals have been wrong, but internet us wrong more often.
