Oil Filter

I have a New Holland Compact Tractor model TC35DA Hydrostat. My owner's manual does not give a part number for the Oil Filter. Does anyone know what this part number is, or better, a cross reference to an automotive filter that would be easier to find rather than going to a tractor dealer.

I have a 1984 model JD 950. I just go to NAPA, tell him my tractor model number, and he looks up the filter part number. I haven't compared the price to JD, but NAPA is much closer.

<font color="blue">Here</font> is a page that has some Wix filters for the tractor. NAPA can change the numbers to their brand.

Here is a discussion involving a smaller filter for the TC35 that might make good reading. New Holland changes part numbers pretty often, so always check at your dealer's parts counter if you decide to buy OEM.
