I know this is been discussed many times, I've been using the factory oil filter, but after owning my tractor for 3 years, and have 300 hours on it, I'm not seeing the need to use genuine Kioti oil filters any longer. I'm thinking that a Wix #51324 is every bit as good if not better. It's more convenient to get and cheaper.
Any one else feel that way or do most just stick to the OEM filters.

I've been using a Napa Gold 1324 engine oil filter in my CK35 since the first oil change. Actually 2nd, dealer gave me a filter for the first. The Napa is made by Wix. It's only $1.50 cheaper than the Kioti filter but a 15 mi. Trip as apposed to 60. The only problem I've encountered is that the Napa filter is 3/4" taller than the Kioti filter. It just barely hits the removable side panel, so I glued a piece of 1/2 neoprene to the filter and it's fine. I would recommend checking the physical size if you have any room constraints. Otherwise IMO no problem.

There are several websites that compare different brands of filters. The difference from one brand to the next is astounding. Worth the time to research. OEM filters are pretty good. They want to protect the warranty.
My dealer is about 4 miles away and the price difference is minimal.

I've been using either a Kioti oil Filter or a Napa Gold 1324 (which ever is most convenient for me to get at the time) on my DK 35 for the past 16 years.

Now that all my big projects are done I'm only putting around 80 hours per year on it.
Think I'm around 2045 or so hours.

There are many good filter makers (and some less so) but mechanical compatibility (size, sealing, flow, etc.) can be an issue as previously reported here.

I've been using Wix and NAPA Gold on my machine along with Wix air filters

I've been using the AC Delco PF9 Duraguard on my NX4510. It cross-references from the Kioti filter number. I go a bunch of them for $4.15 each delivered.
