Oil Filter Wrench for Mahindra 3616 HST

I also had a heck of a time finding a cap type filter tool. The one on the 3616 seemed to be between sizes. I finally picked up a ratcheting type wrench at a local NAPA similar to this:

Worked like a champ.

Ditto, I got mine at NAPA also. Fits on a 3/8 drive socket set. Using that I do not have to remove the engine housing like the manual states. My BX25 has a small diameter filter and it works on that.

My daughter once had a 2009 Nissan Frontier. Its filter wrench fits on my 3016 filter quite nicely. Narrow little buggers them filters.

I cleaned autozone out of the cap type, bands, straps, etc and ended up using a screwdriver and hammer. I got it off, bit messy but got it off.
