Oil Dipstick for Air Compressor

I have a John Deere Air Compressor HR1-5E and I need an oil dipstick...Im at wits end google searching for it...anybody have a lead or point me in the right direction?

Good luck going through Deere. I've searched all through JD Parts and cannot find any reference to HR1-5E. That is the main complaint I have with the JD branded OEM equipment. They are great for parts on tractors and implements but on equipment like generators, pressure washers, snow blowers, etc. they are terrible. If the Deere parts guy doesn't come through I would try to find out who the original manufacturer was and the model and then try to contact them for parts.

Mitm is the licensed mfg of the units, the op will not be able to purchase from them by calling them. The parts are not listed under the conventional parts catalogs. You are looking for a link in jdparts that says. "home and workshop parts and service online" will be listed under a tab that says other parts resources. It even has a live chat function making it super simple to find difficult parts. Be prepared and have your s/n of the base unit as there may be more than one parts catalog. Or call your dealer and they can do it. Deere has actually made this pretty darn easy regardless of what other posters have said.

Thanks for the tip on the supplimental JD Parts catalogs. I signed into JD Parts, got into that section and still didn't see anywhere that it listed parts information. Only Operator's Manuals and the option to purchase products.

I do believe I found the Mi-T-M equivalent product. It is AM1-HE02-05M. You can see the two products below.

Since all you need is a dipstick you might have better luck searching for Mi-T-M parts.
