When I partially restored my tractor some years ago, I didn't touch the oil cooler which is mounted on the front, up against the radiator and cools the hydraulic oil, with a filter just before it.
I doubt that it has ever been touched in 46 years. I have a new filter to go in and new oil, but would like to make sure that the oil cooler is clean and the oil is free-flowing. Is this a bad idea?...should I leave it alone and assume that it is working properly?
If I remove it, what is the best way to flush?
Thanks
