Ok, how the heck do you change the gear oil on the Woods Heritage RD60 finish mower? Before you post check the service manual. I did, it does not show you how to get the old oil out. Or where to put the new oil in. All it tells you to do is use 90w gear lube.
Here is the direct quote.
Use SAE 90W gear lube in the gearbox. Fill to plug on
side of gearbox.
Check gearbox daily for evidence of leakage at both
seals and the gasket between the housing and cover. If
leakage is noted, repair immediately. There may be a
small amount of lube emitted from the vent plug; this is
not considered leakage.
Overfilling the gearbox will cause the excess gear lube
to blow out vent plug and ruin the belt.
