oil and L2550 info

First let me thank all of you for the info you have given me over the last couple months while on a search for my tractor.After lots of phone calls and miles driven i finally found a tractor that fit me and my bugget.A L2550 with a factory loader with 509 hrs,so far it is all i could ask for and looks good in the barn to boot.
I need to know a couple things if anyone could help,where can i get any owner/operator/shop manuels.And does anyone know the oil capacity.I have such a big margin between the lines i just want to know i am correct.

I believe Harv has a Kubota L2500 which should be pretty darn close to yours and should be able to fill in all the blanks... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Congradulations on your tractor purchase!, I have one I bought with 300 hours, which now has almost 800 hours after two years, it has been a very good tractor, and I use it very hard.
According to my owners manual the crankcase oil capacity is 6 quarts, I can't remember if that includes with a filter change or not. I have the owners and shop manuals, as well as the loader, backhoe, mid mount mower and tiller manuals, if you need any info from them I would be happy to look it up for you. Just a side note, the owners manual says to use 10-30 oil in it, I always use 15-40 oil in all my diesels and wouldn't use the 10-30, mine starts perfectly at -20 below zero with 15-40 (it is kept inside an unheated shop) but I do run the glowplugs for 30-40 seconds first, I also use synthetic oil now since I start it in cold weather often, it would start fine with dino oil though.
