New member and new owner. Need to add some antifreeze to lower freeze point a little. What are folks using? Has green in it. Do you need SCA additives? I have some straight Fleetrite by International that was for my Ford Powerstroke. It is green, will it work?
Oil, manual states 10-30 or 10-40 diesel oil. CD,CE,CF,CG, I believe. Where can I find any? Most like wallmart carry 15-40. Gets down to maybe -30F sometimes here in Iowa, would prefer the 10-30. Any hometown places have it? Sorry about long post. Thanks Harry

Local O'Reilly auto parts stores in middle Tennessee area carry Shell Rotella T diesel oil in 10W-30. I believe it is spec'ed CJ which is the newest diesel rating oil for the ULSD fuel systems. I run this in my New Holland TC34DA. No complaints!

Your antifreeze from your Ford is not a problem. I like the Case-IH diesel oil myself for long life as I've seen the spec's and there isn't anything cheaper that has as good of specs. Kubota's fluids I feel are good as I know there equipment and would feel very comfortable with there suggestions.

I often wonder why some choose to be sure they are buying the best equipment and then scrafice in quality of the equipments life blood for a dollar or two.

Thanks guys. Yes, Art, I know what you mean. I want to run quality products in anything I own, but don't like paying what most manufacturers want for their product. For instance, motorcraft oil from a Ford dealer is almost out of site (diesel). I was using Delo 400 from wallmart in my truck. Much cheaper and used in lots of long haul trucks as is Rotella. Again, thanks guys. Harry
