Awesome Blackrat! Congrats on your purchase. Now, go post the same post again, except this time do it in the John Deere owner/operator section;)

Just kidding. Enjoy your new ride.

Thanks Michael. I see in your signature you have a Post hole attachment. Did you buy it new or used? What do they run cost wise?

Wade

Hi Wade!

Bought it new. Everything in my sig was bought as part of a "package deal". Individual price for the PHD was $685 and the 12in Auger was $300. Not sure what if any it was discounted in the package (don't have the final paperwork in front of me.)

BTW - Used it Saturday to dig 53 holes to drop some trees in this coming weekend. Took me less than an hour versus all day with a shovel! I think it paid for itself the first time out! :D

Great choice Blackrat. I've got 52 hours on mine and don't have any regrets. And I like the 4wd, especially with this year's extreme winter here in the midwest. Good luck and "Keep your stick on the ice".

The big day is tomorrow. They should be delivering it around 10am. Since I do computer work for my company I will be working from home and waiting for the door bell to ring. Not sure how much working from home will get done after my new toy arrives though....:D

KarolinaKubota- Thanks for the info. I have to fence in about 7 acres so it sounds to me like the PTH attachment is in my future.:)

I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.. That is if I can get off of it long enough....

Wade,

We've got about 6 acres. 53 trees for a windbreak at the top of a "rise". We too are going to run a fence along 1/3 of our property line. Roughly another 50 plus holes. Wife wants fruit trees planted in the next year or 2 so there's another couple dozen. Will be well worth it! Have fun!

Are you still sitting on that new toy as we haven't seen any pictures yet. You have to get off sometime soon so that you can go and play with the computer to make some money to pay for the toy. Do you notice what the date is??? :)
