I have just been on the recall site and found some surprising big names there.

Looks like their done trying to poison people for a while and are moving on to our pet's.

So far, from what I've read, it's a lot of different brand names, but the only thing recalled is the small packets of "wet" dog and cat food. Apparently none of the dry foods are involved. Is that what others have read? Since we use Science Diet dry dog food, I guess out mutt's safe.

I was at the site earlier today and it does appear the only foods that are effected are the small pouches and canned food. No dry foods. I was also surprised at the number of "big" name brands involved. We routinely use a couple of the brands mentioned but we use dry bags. I hope the recall doesnt eventually extend to the dry.

Global economy without global regulation leads to issues like this. The USA and the "UN" seem incapable of doing anything serious related to global concerns. I am truly confused about all the ramifications. "High End" pet food was also impacted. Thank goodness my dog and cat do not eat moist and/or wet pet food. Jay
