ok, so what kind of questions do they ask you? By this I mean what different variables affect your premium? I am starting to be very interested. I have done a few side jobs in the past without insurance and it has always bothered me. I was kind of figuring that I would have to have some sort of business in order to get that kind of insurance, and thought that it would be much more money. If I could get that as a individual for nearly that I would definitely do it.

The best thing to do is call your agent, but they will probably want to know what you do, your gross receipts, how much experience you have, if there are any employees, if you want to cover your equipment... Probably want to know how you transport your equipment which could lead to a commercial auto policy

if you have no employes its simple and cheep but if you have employes then it get expensive and complicated with audits and record keeping, but if its just you moweing on the side like i am its easy and cheep there is no pay role for the insurance people to audit.
