NX series ? not jalous but... huh maybe a little bit ? :)

Hi guys, i've put about 120 hours on my DK45se since September 2013 and I enjoyed every aspect of it (moving dirt, blowing snow, etc...)

but I was at my dealer 2 days ago in need of oil filter and noticed the new line of NX (I was aware of the new RX)... there was a 45hp NX series and man... the interior beat my DK45

, the remote are like the big tractors, handle operated at the right side, no need to search for them, the FEL joystick even have buttons on it and is "ergonomic" (look a bit like the john deere), there is a new seat also, very well finished.

look like there is a 540E on it, anti-stall function (i've never stalled my DK45se but its nice to have the feature), the 3 pts have 2 hydraulic cylinders now...

oh well, still glad of my DK45 because the NX wasnt available at the time but i'm a bit jalous ?

anyone looked into it, bought it, etc...?

That is the trouble with going to tractor dealerships... something might follow you home...

There will always be newer cooler stuff.

IMO the DKs are the best of both worlds, really nice tractors, without all the complex electronics.

I feel very fortunate to just have a throttle cable, mechanical injection and governor, regular hydrostat, and a muffler.:thumbsup:

The NX is a super nice looing tractor. As you said, very good fit and finish. The market is tough, so they have to keep up with the Jones.

I'll give 1-2 years and I'll check the NX series again... but..but...maybe I could have both ?

Jose, I wouldn't give it a second thought! You have a terrific tractor in the DK45SE HST with Cab. I just bought the NX4510SE HST with Cab, and you're right, it has some sweet enhancements. But I would have gotten the DK45SE HST with Cab instead, except for the fact (wait for it) that the DK sits about 3-3/4" taller. That was just a tad too tall for the door to our tractor garage and the tractor bay door of our horse barn, even with turf tires. Your tractor also came with a set of rear remotes and a cab radio; they are optional in the NX series.
