Getting ready to trick out my NX6010. Got four 6.5" LED lights to replace factory cab exterior lights. Also adding a front and rear camera. Spent hours researching this. I wanted something that provided a good picture. 90% of all monitor and cameras out there run at 480 lines. Some people reported not so good picture quality at 480 lines. So I found some 600 line cameras and a 600 line dual input 7" monitor. I originally thought I would mount monitor in front of steering wheel and still might, but while looking around cab, thought about replacing rear view mirror with monitor; rarely use mirror anyway. I think for the rear camera I will mount under the top of the roof. As for the front camera haven't figured this out yet. Need a mount place to help see with loader work.
Has anyone found the correct LED bulbs to replace headlights? Thanks

-Craig

I removed my inside mirror and replaced it with the monitor, really like it up out of the way there. I tried some cheap LED bulbs in the headlights, they are pretty weak but I don't use the headlights anyway, just use the work lights. I put two up top to replace the factory ones and then mounted two under the running lights on the front of the cab.

So got my LED work lights installed today. Very bright. I did have some trouble with the rear lights fitting on the factory bracket and the cab not sitting right. I had to bring the lights out from the tractor some to get it to fit right. This meant I could only use 2 of the 4 mounting holes on the LED bracket. I tightened it down pretty darn tight, will see if works itself lose over time. To get access to the wiring, I just undid the 6 bolts holding the roof down and I was able to lift it up enough to get access to the wires. The factory wiring uses bullet connectors. Went to NAPA, they had some, but weren't quite the same type. So I wound up just cutting off the factory bullet ones and putting on new ones.

Thanks

-Craig

I also did some more test fitting of the monitor. I took off the rear view mirror. I was then able to put a bolt through the hole left and screw into the back of the monitor. This worked really good. My only issue is the monitor is tilted up a few degree's too high. I might be able to bend the steel rod coming down but not sure.

Very nice. Have you had a chance to use it at night (no moon) to see the difference?
