Now you are getting older - what don't you do?

Actually at 66 I still do everything I did years ago...even more! Like sneeze, f@rt, belch, and hiccup all at once, usually blowing my dentures out which embarrasses my wife in public.
Me...I could care less.
I always find the thing I was looking for the next day when I no longer need it.
Also I'm much better with gas production...volume and tone.
I do seem to forget things more which can be so frustrating...what was the question?

I'll be 60 in September. Overall health is good but a bad left knee and left shoulder impedes movement somewhat. Get up slow, go down slow. Everything is SLOWER. It takes me twice as long to do half the stuff I used to do. LOL

Kinda like the old saying...Measure twice cut once, sooo I think about it twice before trying. ;)

I just turned 69 and can, as most here have said, do most anything I once did but more distant completion dates are expected.
If you want it done yesterday, you should've asked for it last week.
Most tasks, anymore, do take a machine to accomplish.

I guess I've always been a bit competitive, so recently it's been a little difficult for me to realize I've got to do a bit less. I've been doing the only yard work done next door for the last 8 or 10 years, but I've told the neighbor that I won't be able to do it in the future. My wife thinks I should hire our own yard work done, but I haven't given up on that yet. I'm not as steady on my feet as I'd like to be, don't sleep as well as I used to, etc. I've got one artificial knee, one artificial shoulder, and I've had a cardiac triple bypass.

No male member of my family, on either side, has ever lived to be 81, and I turned 79 today.

BUT . . . I've got no complaints. I've had a good life, a good wife, good daughters, and a good time, and I'm not done yet.:cool2:

That's one thing we can't stop doing (getting older). Happy Birthday Bird.

I've slowed down a lot (not in a hurry to finish jobs). I don't spend much time outside in winter like I used to. Don't lift heavy things like I used to (that's why I have a tractor).

I still do all the things I used to do when I was younger, it just takes me longer to do them. :)

Accept I don't take the chances and risks that I used to when I was young and foolish.
