Those are really popular here in Vermont too.. The local state garage has a big New Holland, and a few of the new Landinis with the side mount mowers.. They do make a big mess, but thinking back to how they used to do it, with a sickle bar... much better visibility now.

I don't know what is so special about that brush cutter to have your panties up in a bunch, you should see the teeth on my mother in law . . . when she gets going she should take down a redwood /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

As others have said, that tractor is heavy and has rear wheel weights. I also suspect the rear tires are filled probably to the tune of 1000# each.

Also there appears to be a counterweight located beneath the tractor as well as a rear oil tank that serves as a counterweight. I have attached a photoshop enchanced picture of what apppears to be the center counterweight. Alamo sells "small" versions of this type of boom cutter that will fit on larger compacts for about $10-$12k.
