Novice question about hydro motors

I don't know much about hydraulics so I need a little help choosing a motor. I think the motor I need is a Char-Lynn H series 101-1753. but I can buy the 101-1001 for $25 less. The only difference I can see and understand is the lower cost motor has a higher flow 2.8 vs 2.2. Should I spend the extra $25 or will the bigger motor work. All I'm doing is rotating a chute on a snow blower.

The chute rotator motor on my Kubota front mount blower is quite small and has restrictors in both lines and still spins the chute about twice as fast as I need it to. No matter which motor you choose, power and speed will not be a problem.

Bigger motor will turn slower....but with more torque...

Why not put flow dividers to the hyd motor. You could set up a hyd circuit to turn the chute at a certain speed. Say your tractor has a 10 GPM pump, and you had a 2/8 splitter, the one circuit gets 2 GPM, and the other 8 GPM goes back to tank.

I have a valve similar to the bottom valve, in my PTO circuit, and I can dial in the rpm of the hyd motor, and the excess goes back to tank..
