Im having withdrawals down here! I know alot of the country has snow to deal with, but we got mud. Havent been able to get the tractor out in what seems like months without sinking in and rutting up the place! Please, please, give me 2 weeks without rain! lol. Its killing me, I see where mowing and clearing needs to be done, but just cant get to it. Oh well, guess I'll live. What are the rest of you folks dealing with? Thanks, TB

Can't even get to my place because of snow... need to mow the field but it may be too wet for a while.

Is the drought over then?
Mud here too. Three days without rain and I drove over the weeds quickly with the rotary cutter and now I'm just watching them grow back.

I 'was' dealing with snow a few weeks ago, but now we have mud in the driveway. Can't wait till it dries out some so I can put down some fresh gravel. Every time we get in and out of our truck.. squish.. slop slop slop. My white truck is brown. Oh well. A little mud never hurt anybody.

TB -- I'm going to show my wife this post.....she'll swear I started it 'cause those exact words have been coming out of my mouth for over a month. I actually cleaned up my shop for somethin' to do....but I think I've run out of inside stuff....need some dry! shhhhh .... shouldn't say that so loud ... don't want a repeat of last summer either.

I hear you Mikim, last summer was DRY. We got all (plus more) of our annual rainfall in the winter. Our 6ft deep stock pond looked like those cracked ground pictures you see in Africa. It went bone dry before the end of summer. Fortunatly the pond was not needed last summer. I did run a line out to it from our well system, to try and keep the fish alive but it was going to kill the pump trying to keep water in it, so I let it go dry. The egrets and storks ate pretty good while it was going dry. Before too long Im sure I will be complaining about too much mowing that will need to be done! lol TB

Here in La Grange, I'm having the same issues....

Only thing growing in my yard is the clover, and has gotten high. I'll have to get it knocked down in the next couple of weekends.

I have two flats of veggies and four bundles of 1015 onions that I need to get into the ground. I'm hoping I can do some planting later this afternoon. With the rain predicted tomorrow and 100% on Monday, I have to get it done today or I'll be held up for over another week. My cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and onions should have been in the ground a week ago, but my tilled garden was floating from the 1" of rain we got on Monday. I guess I should have gone ahead and planted right after I tilled last Sunday.
