Looking at the McCormick website, it seems that Daedong ( see Kioti) will be making their new compact tractors.

Yep. Thats why I said the McCormick dealers would like their new compact tractors. Now you can get your daedong tractor at KIOTI, Bobcat or McCormick, get your LS tractor from an LS dealer or now New HOlland, but no longer from Farmtrac, TAFE, or Montana or McCormick. Now Daedong has bought out Shibaru's (sp?) tractor division the company that used to make the NEw Holland compacts....moving the plant to Korea... I guess the Japanese are starting to have the same export of jobs issue we have delt with for years... Losing the New HOlland contract had to take a toll on them
I still maintain for the long haul, better to deal with the mfg as directly as possible.... at least most of the time...

You can also get the Daedong built CUTs through Landini... So that's Kioti, Bobcat, McCormick and Landini!

Where did you hear that Daedong had bought out Shibaura? I can't find that anywhere, and Shibaura's and Daedong's websites don't mention anything.
