Does anybody know where the LX2610 is actually made/assembled??

Kubota's website says that the Georgia Plant makes subcompact tractors. The LX series is not subcompact, so.....

Just curious if anybody has looked on their tractor to see where it was actually made..... Final assembly point.

I don't think they're like cars that require the final assembly point to be in the VIN's first number/letter.

I believe the LX series does qualify as a subcompact. I think it's a designation change for the larger B series tractors. You may have to get into the L series for the compact tractors. Kubota uses the X to designate a smaller version of that type tractor. The BX series is a smaller B tractor. The MX series is a smaller M - essentially an L series tractor. At least that's how I understand the Kubota labeling.

Kubota does not use the industry standard PIN numbering system but does on construction equipment. My tractors have a 5 digit serial number. My SVL-75 has the industry standard 17 character PIN JKUC0752L01532409. J is a preceding symbol. KUC .INDICATES Kubota Corporation. 0752 indicates model, in this case Kubota selected that to designate SVL75-2. Next is a check digit that verifies the PIN has not been tampered with. The last 8 digits are used by the manufacturer to identify the machine. I’m not sure what the 015 means to Kubota but 32409 is their internal serial number used for parts ID without entering the full 17 character PIN. The industry selected PIN to differentiate from automotive VIN to emphasize these are not vehicles and are to be treated differently. There was concern that somebody insist being a vehicle, they must have air bags and all the other vehicle requirements. So there is no plant or country of origin identifier in the PIN. My L6060 only uses the serial number 41909. Construction equipment also is required to have a hidden serial number stamp on a frame component.

Thanks, I was curious if anybody had bothered to look to see where their LX2610 was made; here or in Japan or wherever. I would think it has to have a "Made In ______" sticker somewhere

I think their VIN (? PIN) is only used to document the model year and the production number. Or not
