Talk about radio controlled model airplanes!

Now THIS is a model airplane!

And here is some info and video's of the monster in action...

Kind of scary to think something that large could be up there waiting to fall on someone's head...

Still pretty impressive though...

Wow. For a remote controlled, that's one BIG plane. Wonder how good it flies compared to the smaller ones? G

Next to my wife, kids and tractors. R/C aeroplanes are a fantasy for me. I still prefer the prop jobs, but the advances in fanjet technology have opened up new realms for the hobby.

As you have seen, nothing cannot be modeled now. Something about speed makes anything fly! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif And those fanjets can sure build up some speed!

I'll see If I can get my favorite plane posted here tonight!

One GOOD thing about R/C's, I never had a crash I did not walk away from. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Had a few I had to RUN away from... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I enjoy RCing. Built, flown and crashed way too many to count. That B52 is unbelievable. Too bad the videos aren’t still available.

keep that away from terrorists, they may drop little dirty bombs from it. fly in under radar non detected. who are all the people in the picture have they gone thru flight school with no background checks. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif do they need special permits to fly something that big?

I have a friend who is a retired American Airlines pilot and he sent me that link last week. That B-52 is really impressive. I think we should all keep up with the link so that if our wives and girfriends complain about us spending too much on a our tractors we can just show them this and tell them it's either tractors or R/C airplanes.
