Hoping someone could tell me more about having a DPF on a tractor.
Any problems having one?
Any additional maintenance or expense?
Regen mode?
Etc..

Don't know about the Kubota's DPF, the DPF on my John Deere works well, only time I know it regenerates is when the light in the dash comes on and tells me.

I have over 430 hrs on my B2650 in 16 months. From mowing to grading with the box blade to rototilling and bucketing material with the front end loader it has been an awesome machine. Very comfortable operator platform and plenty of power to do any of these tasks. No problems at all.

The B2650 doesn't have DPF only the B3350 which had some problems initially. DPF is not a big issue when working properly as it does on most applications, it jut requires a periodic regeneration cycle.

There are several sources for info, here is just one: Understanding Diesel DPF Regeneration - YouTube

I have a 2015 B2650HSDC (cab) and I am totally pleased.

The only things I have noticed that I consider less than perfect are:

1. The "seat-of-the-pants" estimation of loader capacity is not what I expected from the numbers. Entirely adequate, just not the increase over my JD750 that I had hoped for. The SSQA system is the greatest invention since sliced bread IMHO.

2. Cabin noise is quite pronounced, I keep a pair of good earmuff style hearing protectors hanging off the loader joystick and wear them every time I start the tractor.

Power is good, ergonomics are good, hydro transmission is GREAT (after 30 years of gear shift and no live pto). I run a 5 foot rear finish mower, a 5 foot rotary brush mower, a rototiller, a 66 inch box blade and a 64 inch snow blower with it and have absolutely no issues with having enough power or traction to do the job. I did have the rear tires loaded as part of the purchase.

I'd buy one again in a heartbeat.

PHPaul---The B2650 comes with both a 60" and 72" belly mower. Now that you've owned yours for a while, what do you think of it's ability to cut grass? The 60" will probably go through anything but how is it in tall grass? Do you think a 72" would bog it down in heavy grass or do you think the 72" is for shorter grass? Trying to help a neighbor.

DISCLAIMER: MINE IS A 3 POINT HITCH MOUNTED REAR FINISH MOWER NOT A BELLY MOWER.

I use the RFM to mow "pastures". Occasionally, when conditions/circumstances prevent me from mowing regularly, I mow grass 6" or a bit taller. Power-wise it's no issue at all, but the quality of the cut suffers a little. I do get a little bit of "mohawking" where the caster wheels have flattened the grass and it doesn't stand back up soon enough for the blades to cut it. Probably a slower ground speed would help with that.

In shorter grass on smooth ground, I think it would be okay as a lawn mower but if you're particular about a manicured lawn, it wouldn't be my first recommendation.

JMHO, YMMV, etc...

I have a 2015 B2650 with 400 hours now. No squawks at all, very good machine. I have operated a post hole digger, wood chipper, box blade, landscape blade, and rear snow blower. No problems at all, it’s a great machine.

Thank you. Is the B2650 a later version of the B7800?
