I bought six 3/4x4 inch hitch pins and two 3/4x6 inch hitch pins two weeks ago to replace the pins it comes with being that is what most people are doing because the pins that come with over time wear out the holes for the axles and stabilizers and I also bought 4 washers to use with the hubs to take the runout out of the wheels and then in a small package I found the cotter pins for the two axle nuts. My other two axle and hub assemblies will be here next Tuesday and I already have the rims and tires to put on the axles.
I did get the controller mounted and laid out the hydraulic hoses so tomorrow all I need to do is put the front arm and bucket on, hookup the hydraulic lines, fill all fluids and put in some 91 octane fuel then start it up, I also bought four 3.5 inch extensions and couplers for the control levers so they are a bit longer, have heard that it gives more control of the trencher, I still need to call on a bigger hydraulic pump and also put the better hydraulic filter on the tank.
There are some other things I will do but I will wait till summer, not done with it yet, can’t wait till spring.
I will post the last pics tomorrow.
