Not what we are used to looking at, but another great Kubota machine!

I've been using this little generator to charge depleted storage batteries at RR Crossing Signals after a devestating ice storm knocked out our comercial power.

Starts like a champ, runs quiet with 110/220 VAC plus a twelve volt DC output. What a versatile little powerhouse!

HI THERE BIGDAD, I JUST ASKED MY DEALER ABOUT A GAS KUBOTA GENERATOR AND HE SAID THAT THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM IN THE U.S.A. ANYMORE. THE ONLY MAKE DIESEL ONES THAT START @ 7000 WATTS.
STARTING PRICE FOR THOSE IS AROUND $5,000.00.

Hi guys.....

I don't have any idea what that little orange devil cost. It was purchased during an emergency five or six years ago. I'm only guessing well over a grand. I latched onto it because of it's ease of handling compared to the noisy "Big Box Store" varieties. I'm a solo act, so I have to have something that I can handle. Needless to say, it is chained and locked into the bed of my company truck. When the going gets tough as far as power outages, generators are prime for theft. All of our others are chained and locked to the signal houses when in service.

My apologies for posting this in the wrong place. It does say KUBOTA on it and it's a great product. Interesting to know that they are out of production in the states. Diesel now huh? Interesting.
