No, it's not a p*rn title...

This book gives a great account of firewood harvesting, firewood use, and other information. It has a GREAT 'ambiance' about it, generating a classic and traditional mindset. There will be very interesting points for old timers as well as modern folks turning to wood reliance.

Ditto here. I thought that I would finally learn what they were singing about.

I'll bet that is an interesting book though. Those countries as well as Germany have practiced forestry for centuries out of necessity there are no vast stands of timber.
There was an older Swedish couple who lived down the road from us when I was growing up; every fall we would hitch the trailer up to the 8N and help them bring the wood in which they had cut that spring. While he felled the trees and bucked them up with the Homelite XL12 she cut the smaller limbs with an axe; they used branches down to the size of your little finger.

My first thoughts were of trees in Norway. I don't get out much.
