Hello everyone,
Looks like this may be a very helpful place. I have two tractors, well three if you count the piece of shrapnel that has Toro on it. Might have been OK if i had bought a hydro drive but I got the 5 speed tranny. Just awful. They replaced it twice and it still is a piece of..oh..junk.
My John Deere (425) is wonderful. Has 1800 hours and i have had it torn apart every which way. Great machine to work on, just high priced parts. But it does whatever i ask it. I just wish it was 4WD.
I found the Kubota for sale in a guys yard. It is the little 2 cylinder 1800BX, 15 Hp, Liquid cooled. Came with a mower deck, a Curtiss cab, Front end loader, Back blade, class 1, 3 point, a brand new never mounted snow blower, and a couple other odds and ends. And 235 hours. When i spoke with a Kubota dealer he called me a "thief" and said i had stolen it for the price i paid.
Hope i can be of help to someone in here as i know you other members will be to me.
Dave
