Well, Noreaster is finally on its way out of my area now. Started here last night and by 4PM today we ended up with about 10"-12" snow and then the rain started coming. What a mess trying to delicately plow the driveway without tearing up the gravel underneath. Really muddy here now and by the end of the week we are supposed to see temps in the mid 50's so it will all be gone. Next Saturday I'm hoping to get 3 loads of road grindings or crushed concrete to redo my driveway.

Paul,
I predict you will get this newfangled "indoor running water" up your way within the next twenty years or so !

I shoud say that i call her "Whats-Her-Name" in front of her..... it is my loving pet name, just as one may call their sweetie "Honey-Buns", "Sweet Potatos", or whatever else you may call your loved one.

This should cover me in the event she finds TBN, right?

Our weather here in Northeast, PA still going on. So far it has been 10 to 12 inches of wet/heavy snow and still coming down. They say it will not stop until about midnight tonight after adding another 2 to 4 inches by the time it stops. What ever happened to Spring? I hope it gets here soon! Tomorrow we will go into work & clean the snow off 50 some machines on our lot & hope and pray this is the last of it:D. If anyone out there sees spring, send it my way. Thanks

Fair enough. Hey, so just out of curiosity, does she call you Ductape? :D

(sorry could not resist).

Strangely.... no. Somehow that nick-name was given to me by my friends.... oh .... about 25 yrs ago. Apparently they found it unusual that i had so many uses for Ductape (don't ask!).

I got +7" of heavy snow, which changed to sleet, and quickly to rain and more rain. So far the storm has dropped 3.87" of rain and melted snow according to my fancy weather station. Winds gusted to 33 mph. I thought I had a dry cellar :). This storm taught me otherwise   :(. THe flooding may be due to the frozen ground underneath. Apparently there will be more rain and snow showers till Thursday :(. Jay

We got 16cm of heavy wet snow. The wife and I went for a walk in the snow yesterday morning and saw the oddest site, worms. Worms were crawling out of the wet ground and were crawling, slowly across the top of the wet snow. We saw dozens in our walk around the block.

It was good to wake up to calm this morning. Looks like we may make it to the mid-70s today.

Still a lot of folks here in WNC without power.

It could have been worse.
