I have been lurking here a while and shopping dealers for a new tractor for finish mowing, landscape work and some work in the melon patch. Finally narrowed the decision down to the L3400 HST, finish mower, box blade and FEL. Delivery is scheduled for Friday:D

The dealer priced that tractor with the LA463 FEL and now tells me I can go with the Ansung with skid steer quick attach for the same money. Now I am confused again, can anyone tell me which of the loaders would be best:confused:

Thanks

Without knowing much, I wish I had skid steer quick attach on my tractor... regardless of who made it. I'll let someone who knows Ansung to reply...

Kubota now makes a QD for the 463 now so that is also an option.

Well they made them before but they didn't make it an option till now, all that had to be done was put a QD plate on the bucket and buy the QD for the FEL..

I think TexasDodge has the Ansung loader. Specs out at 200lbs more lift than the la...and with a quick attach...I say go for it.

The dealer didn't mention the Kubota option. I will call tomorrow and get a price. Thanks..

more capacity means a lighter backend. either way you should also consider loading the rear tires. i have a 3400 and even with counter weight it feels light. i'm having the tires loaded this spring wish i had done it during the purchase...

Would I be able to load the tires myself? How much should I expect the dealer to charge if he does it for me?

Thanks,
FM

You can do it yourself with a water to air adapter and a drill pump from Tractor Supply. My tires are loaded and even with a 400lb implement on the 3pt hitch, it still feels light on the rear end. the 3400/2800 like alot of rear ballast. The 463 loader is heavy for a tractor of that size. Most other tractor brands loader for a tractor of that size are quite a bit lighter.

I'd get the dealer to throw the loaded tires into the deal.

Definately get a QA adapter - regardless of whether you gte the Kubota or Ansung loader.

I'd strongly consider going for the Ansung loader given the extra 200lb capacity.
