non-Kubota loaders

I've been toying with the idea of putting a non-Kubota loader on a B2710/2910 and have learned some things in my research which may prove useful to others:

Woods:
1006 - available for B series, front mount, similar to Kubota loaders. Less rated capacity, but they rate at 1660 psi hydraulic pressure versus Kubota rating at 2000 psi.

1009 - Similar to 1006, more capacity, not avalable for B-series at this time (L-series versions abound.)

1012 - 4-bar linkage, greater rollback angle, quick attach optional. Also available for L-series and no immediate plans for B-series but lots of interest from dealers, regional managers, and customers so maybe they will...



Bush Hog:
1846QT - 515# rated, less then Kubota LA402

2246QT - only for L series

2346QT - only for L series

M146 - shipping in ~90 days - first true mid-mount loader for B-series. 84" lift height, ~850# capacity!

M246 - shipping in ~30 days - mid-mount loader for L-series

You might also want to check out Great Bend loaders. I was loader shopping a few months ago for my JD4100. I was really looking at the Great Bend line. They are really well built and seem to fit and function more like a OEM loader than an aftermarket unit. Specs were similar to the JD 410 loader. I almost purchased one, but didn't because the subframe mount was incompatable with my mid-mount mower deck. So I went with the JD 410 loader. But for those who don't use a mid-mower, you might look at this equipment. It's about 20% less than the OEM loaders. (www.greatbendmfg.com)
