Noisy Alternator/Dynamo

Thank You all for your reply. I ended up taking it apart and found it to be a bearing issue, loose bearings/Dry was letting the magnetic cap vibrate and touch the coil circuitry. Since I know the coil is still good (still charges battery to 14v) I am going to rebuild it my self. I will start another thread with pics. Thanks -Joe
