So you are saying the housing breaks? That is a new one for me. I've put my 54 and 54C decks through **** and never (not once) have had a spindle problem. I grease about 8-10 pumps but once a year. I mow 6 acres too.
Puzzling for sure.
If housings break, then I'd be for getting some help through my dealer from Deere rep.
