No restart L3710

Started and ran today many times ....shut it off, now no restart.
Dash lights, headlights, start solenoid near inj pumps operates, but dead starter...not even a click.
Removed and charged battery, cleaned terminals, and ditto...
What am I missing...this tractor is new to me....and why are there so many starters on ebay?

I bet the lights aren't even dimming when you do turn the key. I'd start at the switch right after I'd check the fuse.

GEEEZZZ!!! 1 post and you hit it dead on!!! I musta bumped one of the PTO levers just enuf to keep the starter from engaging....
