No power

On a New Holland TC45D the battery was replaced from a few years of sitting. It has no power to the dash or anywhere. Does this tractor have an inline fusible link somewhere between the battery and ignition? Years ago GM had these and they would burn out and have the same symptoms. The tractor does not belong to me just trying to help.I presume + is hot and - is ground on this tractor. Any help would be appreciated.Where is the fuse box located also?

It sounds like a bad connection. Clean the terminals and see if that helps.

Also clean grounds, especially battery ground 'down to bare metal' as corrosion is your enemy. Depending on the design there are sometimes ground straps between the engine and frame as well as battery to frame.
I have seen some of those straps (like braided flat wire) totally corroded out, generally greenish and crumbly to the touch.

Battery jumper cable from neg terminal to a good clean engine area will confirm a ground path problem as will a jumper from pos terminal directly to the starter main lug. Just be sure you are in neutral when performing the direct test.

Thanks for the reply. I cleaned all connections at frame and on both battery terminals. Got fire to the 40 amp fuse in and out. I have to check the ig switch next.The battery is new and not drawing down. My next step is to take the panels off so I can check from the 40 amp fuse to switch. I know power leaves the 40 amp fuse, but don't know how far it goes as of this moment.
