No Photos, Just Thanks

My two year old just loves tractors. He spots them a mile away and screams, "guck, guck, look guck!!" He thinks truck is tractor.

The other night he was fussy and wouldn't lay down. So I opened the board and we went to the photo section. As the pictures appeared he'd yell, "Oh, Wow, Guck!!!" He'd call him mom and say, "Look, Mom, Big Guck." After watching a few of your photos of tractors he fell asleep on my lap and I'm sure he had many happy tractor dreams.

Thanks for the fun and interesting photos. We both enjoyed them.

That is toooo funny! Only because I can completely identify. When I was tractor shopping my son (then 1 year) sat with me for hours pouring over tractor flyers and brochures. One of his first words was "tractuur" (slightly slurred) /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif. Now he LOVES it when I'm on the board at home looking at the pictures. Not sure who likes it more, him or me!!!

The photos I posted a while ago from the Farm show....I had to go twice. Once to get the photos and once to let him sit on EVERY tractor in the place.

It's great when they love something we love eh?!

My first son couldn't pronounce the sound made by "tr" (as in trucks, his favorite things as a three year-old). Any "tr" would come out as an "f" sound. Every time he would see a truck he would sing out. Made for some astounded bystanders, and loud comments from dad - "yes, honey, that is a TRUCK".

I am sensing, that the sleeping child in your lap is most certainly a future tractor owner and TBN'r
Maybe Muhammad will start up a new forum for the Day Care Center age members, they can discuss there scale size equipment, sandbox issues etc. Maybe MChalkley will even invent for them a MChalkley cup with one of those little sippy covers on it so it won't spill.
Heck, I would even buy one of those for my self. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
Anyway, that was a great story, A father and son spending tractor time together. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have a 10 year old son who goes nuts when he sees an orange tractor. He will not stop until I tell him that I've seen it. We both love the photos on this site. It's always fun to see what other folks are going with their toys!!!

My 20 month old guy calls trucks "ducks" and a big truck is a "beeduck"

Tractors are "brr brr brr brr" (Make that sound out of alternate sides of your mouth and you get the picture)

Also says mower for mower (So he is good with that one)

Because I work in my shed, he thinks I am over here all day playing with the duck, brr brr and mower. He calls out to mum all day for the brr brr and mower.

Worst part is they get grown up before you realize it. Wish I could do it all over again and spend more time in the sandbox with them.

My four year old likes the pictures here too. She'll sit there for an hour and look at the tractor pictures with me.
