I think I would MOVE! It looks like that place has been in the line of the stones for more than a few weeks, and it also appears there is another large one ready to fall, in the not too distant future.

From the looks of that debris field, stones have been coming off that one spot on the cliff for many years or even centuries. Not a good place to build a house and as farmgirl19 stated, now is a good time to move as that other large chunk is about ready to come down also. SO either move or dig a rock catching pit or diversion wall uphill from the house.

Thanks. That would be pretty scary.

Sure made a mess of the vineyards and took out the barn section too. Hard to believe the rocks would cut that deep rolling down that steep hill.

Good excuse to own a backhoe so he could dig a couple diversion trenches. Maybe even bury some rocks.
