no more tractor service in Kansas City?

/ no more tractor service in Kansas City? #11
I'm irritated at the dealership. They should still have to service what they sold in my opinion. I'm sure they still have access to parts, but don't want to mess with them because there's not enough profit in them.

Luckily, I have a dealer that is only 15 miles away, which I didn't have when I purchased the tractor from KC Bobcat. They are a small tractor dealer that handles several brands of equipment, so hopefully they will keep the Bobcat line.

When a dealer decides to terminate the contract to sell & service a product line they immediatley forfiet the ability to order parts that are specific to that line. In this case, the tractor line, dealer can still get the hydraulic and engine oil because same oil is used in other Bobcat products that they have contract for but they can not order any parts that fit only the tractors. They can sell off any inventory they have on hand but cannot order replacement parts.
