On my 2002 Kubota L3010 HST, the hydraulics on the backhoe and front loader leak down very quickly. Have not noticed any fluid leaks. Does anyone have a solution? Tractor has 500 hours on it and all hoses have been changed as well as new fluid and filter.

Control valves will leak some, cylinders Can leak internally ... not a big problem unless it gets to interfere with the actual operation....

Most manufactures figure about 6" of drop an hour for warrantee work.

I agree with art in that we need more information about the rate of leak down "quickly" and other clarification.

Did the BH and FEL both begin to leak down suddenly? Does one leak down more than the other? How about the stabilizers; do they leak down as well and both at the same rate?

It also seems premature to have to replace all hoses at 500 hour. Has this machine been worked especially hard?

The leak down on both the FEL and the BH occurs within about 14-20 minutes when both will be on the ground from the upright position. The tractor has not been worked hard. The stabilizers do not leak down at the same rate and will usually remain upright. The reason I replaced the hoses in the backhoe was that one was leaking fluid and I did not want to pay to have one replaced possibly followed by others wherein I paid for the same labor more than once. Any advice as to why the FEL and BH leaks down so fast would be appreciated. Thanks.
