I just replaced a brake rod seal on the 3930 at work, dumped all the trans oil in the process. Brakes worked fine before I did the seal, now I have nothing, pedal drops to the floorboard with no effect. I guess at this point I can assume the brakes utilize the hydraulic fluid to work? I refilled the fluid to the proper level. How do I get the brakes back? Thanks!

Steve, they are completely mechanical brakes. It sounds like you put the double nuts back on, but still need to adjust them. Keep screwing the nut on the shaft until you have about 1.5" of pedal freeplay. Once you have it adjusted, tighten the jam nut to keep adjuster nut from coming loose.
This all assumes that you have the linkages all back together correctly.

Thanks TractorTech! I ended up speaking to the service manager at the dealership and he told me the same thing. Apparently the right side brake wasn't adjusted properly before I started the job, I replaced only the left side seal. I had marked the rod where the lock nut was but the oil and stretching the seal over the rod rubbed off my mark. After talking with the dealer I made the adjustments and the brakes are fine now.
