Sadly, I agree. I wouldn't take a B3350 on a bet. My dealer says that they just sit on them waiting for an uninformed buyer, anyone that knows the whole story runs from them. And, he says that they are still fighting the issues, with the updates to the software, some amount of customers are happy or at least happy enough... but there are still a number that no matter what, the machines are poo-poo. The B3350 is a bad omen, the best you can hope for is that you get one of the good ones and not one of the problem children goes back and forth to the dealership with no real sign of a fix.

Agreed, I知 glad I didn稚 go with the 3350 even though it sounded like my dealer would refuse to sell me one anyway.
If you need more hp than the 2650 has in my opinion you are looking at a L01 series. But the standard L01 series are pretty stripped down compared to a B50 series. Grand L60 is the next option to have a premium tractor with more HP. If none of that works then (dare I say) you may be looking at a different brand of tractor. I know Deere offers some higher HP machines that are still smaller and lighter like the B50 series.

I'm particular and I like arm rests, which are not available even as an option on the L series. Moreover, the turning brakes on the L 33/3901 hydrostat models are on the same side as the hydro pedal, rendering the turning brakes just about impossible to use. I need to keep the overall width within 60" for use with 5' cutter so larger models are not an option.

I'm little concerned with the regen issues with past B3350s as the emissions control system is warranted for 3000 hours (far longer than I will be around) and I'm on a first name basis with everyone at my large dealership, which is only 5 miles away.

The problem isn't the term of emissions warranty, the problem is that a notable percentage of new and old B3350 units that are still fighting problems that require back and forth trips to the dealer with customers left with no tractor. It's these B3350 customers and tractors that tell me that warranty be damned... It's not fixed and if you have one with issues, you may need to buy another so you have something to use for the days that your 3350 is in line at the shop waiting to get some updates software that at best has a chance to make the pain bearable enough that you put up with it and stop dragging your pile of bolts to the shop. Yes, that sounds like a grand plan for getting rid of $35,000. Not.

What Rock Crawler says about the tractor having problems that require leaving it at the dealer and let them try to determine what is not working with regen.

Being, "I'm on a first name basis with everyone at my large dealership, which is only 5 miles away." does not guarantee they can readily get your warrantied B3350 going quickly, because even Kubota Corp. doesn't have a complete answer.

Do a internet search for B3350 reliability, and see what you come up with.

My brother bought a 3350 with cab 5 years ago, nothing but problems with regen the last time it came back from the dealer it had starting problems. They picked it up again and have had it for three weeks. They are now saying Kubota will put in a new engine and warranty it for five years or they will give him a brand new 2650. The dealer is telling him to take the 2650 sounds like that is what he is going to do.

Even though the 3350 was more money, being offered a new 2650 to replace it is a awesome deal. He should jump on that.
